Frequently asked questions
Is Catch the Cup free to play?
Yes, it is free to download and the whole game is playable without spending anything. There are optional in-app purchases on Android, and an optional rewarded video you can watch to continue a run. Neither is required to play or to reach any part of the game.
I lost my high score. Can it be restored?
High scores are stored on your device. If you deleted the app, changed phones, or cleared its data, the score cannot be recovered. Reinstalling on the same device without deleting app data usually keeps it.
Do ads interrupt gameplay?
Nothing interrupts an active run. When a run ends you can choose to watch a short rewarded video to continue from where you fell — you opt into it, and it never appears while you are running.
What can I buy in the game?
On Android there are optional in-app purchases; the store lists them between $0.29 and $7.99. Nothing in the game is locked behind them — no level, no mechanic, no score. They exist for players who want to support the studio or skip the rewarded video.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. You can play without an internet connection. Short breaks often happen with poor signal, so the game is built to work anyway.
The game is running slowly or crashing. What should I do?
First close other apps running in the background, then restart the game. If the problem continues, reinstalling usually resolves it. If it still happens, email us with your device model and OS version so we can reproduce it.
How do I report a bug?
Email joxgames.dev@gmail.com with your device model, operating system version, and what you were doing when the problem happened. A screen recording helps more than anything else.
Do you collect personal data?
We keep data collection minimal. The full detail of what is and is not collected is in our Privacy Policy.
Can I suggest a feature or a new game idea?
Yes, and we read all of it. Email us. We are a small studio, so we cannot build everything, but suggestions genuinely influence what we work on next.
